Hi everyone! Long time no talk. I feel like the past year has been absolutely insane. So many life changes, all good ones thankfully! I know I have said this more times than I could count but I am really hoping to get back into posting on here. Not only to share all of the things I love but also to have content to look back on.
Any who, my cousin and his beautiful wife are pregnant with their first baby, a baby girl so I wanted to do something special for her baby shower. In girl scouts many years ago, I learned how to make tie fleece blankets and last winter I made one for myself for the first time since I was a kid. I absolutely love it and I shockingly use it a lot. I figured, it would be a great personal gift, plus who doesn’t love a good blanket!
To start out, I went to JoAnn Fabrics to pick out the fleece I wanted. I went with a pretty floral and a green. I bought a yard of each color. Once I got home, I laid one on top of the other and cut a 4×4 inch square on each corner. After doing so, I cut a quarter inch strip around the entire blanket. After that, you simply just tie the top piece with the bottom piece, twice until you’re done. This is super simple and great to do with your little one!
